Oh yeah, I had a birthday too...

On November 12 I turned 32! The day of my birthday my mom watched Luke So that James and I could go out. He wanted to take me to this Chinese restaurant I've wanted to go to ever since we moved to Bountiful. We got seated and looked at the menu. There was nothing that looked good to us and it was fairly expensive so we left and found a new Chinese place we've never been to. It was perfect! Then we drove all the way to Holiday because I really wanted to see The Giver (my favorite book growing up) and it's almost out of theaters so that was the only place we were able to find it. On the way home we stopped at walmart to get a piece of cake. James said "no way can you fit 32 candles on that, we probably don't even have 32 candles." Well I proved him wrong but it was quite an interesting out come!

One of my birthday presents was getting shellac nails, something I have wanted for a while. So after therapy on Thursday I went and did it. It was fun and relaxing and my nails are super adorable!

Then on Saturday I went out with my mom, and sisters. We started out at Swig for cookies and dirty diet cokes, Then we went to get pedicures (so now my feet are adorable too!) Then we went to Paradise Bakery. While I was gone James and the kids colored pictures and decorated the house for my birthday. James made me my favorite cake, German Chocolate and my favorite ice cream, so we had a little party and I opened my present which was an ice cream maker. YUM that is exactly what I wanted.

Thanks everyone for making my birthday awesome

Happy Birthday to my sweet sweet husband

Can I say how blessed I am to have James as my husband...? We are goofy and laugh together, we have super fun and incredible adventures. He is a huge help and life saver. He does sweet thoughtful things that make my day. He cuddles, and kisses, and holds my hand. Even when he doesn't want to. I have never has so much fun with anyone ever as James and I have, It's really an amazing, wonderful, breath taking love. I can't imagine life without it, XOXOX I love you baby.

So. 4th of July, birthday, 4 crazy kids, a long drive to American Fork, and the birthday of the most handsome man ever!

I did Ava's hair SO CUTE it was in the shape of a star. It didn't last long but it was cute for a minute...

32!!! Happy Birthday James!

Blowing out the candles!

James hasn't had any guns for a while so I bought him this 12 gauge Shotgun. (ugh and boy was that a PAIN in the butt, but it was worth it to see him happy! )

And I got the kids CUTE 4th of July clothes to wear. Awwwww.

These are the fireworks we did.... They were pretty good this year

ugh I look terrible but this is the only pic I got with James

trying to get the whole gang, James' mom and grandma, Ava, Jordan, Josh and Carter

The kids were too busy to hold still long enough for me to take pictures, the only one who would was Carter.

After we got home and got kids in bed James and I sat on the porch and watched the lightning, and that was personally my favorite moment. The silence, the smell of the rain, the sky lit up not with fireworks, but nature. Sitting next to the one I love. It was beautiful.

On Saturday we took that gun out shooting, even though we got caught in the rain.

Happy Birthday my James. You light up my world like fireworks. ;-)

4, he is

I can't believe the Carter man is 4 years old. I know it's cliché to say that it goes by in the blink of an eye, but seriously.... it does. Carter chose a Star Wars party this year and so of course this momma made it happen! *also I have never even seen star wars.... I'm getting good at planning parties for things I know nothing about!*

On the morning of his birthday, during breakfast he was complaining his leg hurt. Thinking it was just his eczema I said let me look...  and I found this big oozing pussing disgusting thing on his leg.

With his history or the MRSA infection we decided to go to the doctor. Oh carter, why does EVERYTHING happen to you??
So we spent the morning at the doctor's

Ok, now for the fun part. The food for this party was really fun. I didn't do as well in the game department. We only played one game "hot yoda" which is like "hot potato" and I did not manage to get any pictures of the game.

Happy Birthday Carter! We love you!
