Wow, its been a while

I have not had much energy to do much, and blogging is one of those things. Finding cords, plugging things in, downloading pictures... yikes.

Summer is coming to an end and we are looking forward to fall. I am excited to bring out my boots. My sweaters probably won't fit though, darn.

my pictures will be a little old, but we did go camping a couple more times before we had to bid farewell to the camping gear. Other than that growing this baby takes everything I have.

Oh and I am teaching Carter and Ava preschool. Here are the pictures....


First the camping:

I roasted corn on the cob in the fire (first time) and it turned out super 

 And since I didn't have the energy to plan something extravagant we had hotdogs. 

We also went for a hike (which is more like a walk) at silver lake. I sure love it there 

 It was sunset and we watched the sun sink below the mountains, it made for some good photography lighting 

 We also played monopoly

Now I am 13 weeks (and in the second trimester yay!) but here is the 11 week picture. 

weekend getaway

I had a few days off work and so James and I had some adventures. First up: Camping

I love being in the nature with the quiet and the trees. Its so peaceful and beautiful.

Next up: Intermountain Medical Center to check  on little baby.

Finally some little R&R in our favorite room, Room with a View at anniversary inn


We watched Dear John. I may have cried...

The bed was like heaven....

I love the big jetted tubs. there is a fireplace on one side of the tub. So romantic in winter with the fire on,

8 weeks

This week I am sick and tired. So sick and so tired. Why does pregnancy hate me so much? I am craving potatoes this week, Tater tots, baked potato, fries....

Happy Birthday to my sweet sweet husband

Can I say how blessed I am to have James as my husband...? We are goofy and laugh together, we have super fun and incredible adventures. He is a huge help and life saver. He does sweet thoughtful things that make my day. He cuddles, and kisses, and holds my hand. Even when he doesn't want to. I have never has so much fun with anyone ever as James and I have, It's really an amazing, wonderful, breath taking love. I can't imagine life without it, XOXOX I love you baby.

So. 4th of July, birthday, 4 crazy kids, a long drive to American Fork, and the birthday of the most handsome man ever!

I did Ava's hair SO CUTE it was in the shape of a star. It didn't last long but it was cute for a minute...

James hasn't had any guns for a while so I bought him this 12 gauge Shotgun. (ugh and boy was that a PAIN in the butt, but it was worth it to see him happy! )

And I got the kids CUTE 4th of July clothes to wear. Awwwww.

The kids were too busy to hold still long enough for me to take pictures, the only one who would was Carter.

 

After we got home and got kids in bed James and I sat on the porch and watched the lightning, and that was personally my favorite moment. The silence, the smell of the rain, the sky lit up not with fireworks, but nature. Sitting next to the one I love. It was beautiful.

 

On Saturday we took that gun out shooting, even though we got caught in the rain.
