camping!

James and I went camping last weekend. It was so fun! James picked the most perfect spot. it was at the Spruces Campground. We had a Creek, a dead tree for firewood, and it was close enough that he could run to get batteries which I forgot.

We arrived, put up the tent and started the fire. James went to get batteries for the air mattress punp while I cooked our tin foil dinners (which James had never had before. Whaaaaat?!)

We ate, went for a little hike, then sat by the fire roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and such. It was so fun spending time with my honey. I loved it!

So it ended up being an unusually cold night. And we ended up leaving at about 1am and going home! Haha we are pansies. :) But we still had fun.

Mommy Monday

Carter and I went in the morning and got donuts. We let James sleep in but we brought some treats and donuts for him when he woke up.

Next we met Jessica at the movie for Carter's very first movie at the theater. We saw the Lorax. It was so cute and Carter had fun. He loved his popcorn!

Carter has been so excited to go swimming. We had a dress rehersal the night before to see if everything fit.

 Then we kicked off our Seven Peaks Salt Lake Season Pass by meeting Jessica and Grandma for some fun in the sun!

I love spending time with this cute, crazy boy! :) Thanks mom and Jessica for all your help!

Date Night With My Love

I love country music. James does not. But he is such a swell fella he went with me to a country music concert anyway. I love him! We saw Chris Cagle at the Eagle Mountain Pony Express Days. The weather was amazing. I just love being outside in the summer. Especially with my sweetie. The view from the ampitheater was beautiful!

Memorial Day 2012!

On Memorial Day we had a picnic at the park. I love being all together with my family! Its the best!

Later Carter, Jordan, Josh and I made cotton candy! It was messy! I had planned to make hamburgers for dinner but the boys wanted waffles, so waffles it was! it was a great day.
