love

We went to Anniversary Inn in Logan for my birthday. We had a great time. James got me lots of sweet gifts and helped the kids plan a party. We also celebrate our temple sealing. We have an eternity  box that we add candles to each year and we write each other notes.

We are getting settled in to our new house and Luke turned one on 2/28. We had a dr. Seuss party and Luke loved his cake! Happy birthday baby boy!!!

Oh yeah, I had a birthday too...

On November 12 I turned 32! The day of my birthday my mom watched Luke So that James and I could go out. He wanted to take me to this Chinese restaurant I've wanted to go to ever since we moved to Bountiful. We got seated and looked at the menu. There was nothing that looked good to us and it was fairly expensive so we left and found a new Chinese place we've never been to. It was perfect! Then we drove all the way to Holiday because I really wanted to see The Giver (my favorite book growing up) and it's almost out of theaters so that was the only place we were able to find it. On the way home we stopped at walmart to get a piece of cake. James said "no way can you fit 32 candles on that, we probably don't even have 32 candles." Well I proved him wrong but it was quite an interesting out come!

One of my birthday presents was getting shellac nails, something I have wanted for a while. So after therapy on Thursday I went and did it. It was fun and relaxing and my nails are super adorable!

Then on Saturday I went out with my mom, and sisters. We started out at Swig for cookies and dirty diet cokes, Then we went to get pedicures (so now my feet are adorable too!) Then we went to Paradise Bakery. While I was gone James and the kids colored pictures and decorated the house for my birthday. James made me my favorite cake, German Chocolate and my favorite ice cream, so we had a little party and I opened my present which was an ice cream maker. YUM that is exactly what I wanted.

Thanks everyone for making my birthday awesome

Eternity

James and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary of being sealed in the temple. I am so blessed to have a worthy temple holder to be with for all time and eternity. After church we went up to the Bountiful temple where we were sealed and took a picture.

When we got home I had a couple of surprises. I made his favorite dinner (Chicken alfrado with angel hair pasta) I also printed and framed our favorite picture and a picture of the temple. Finally I created an "Eternity box" It has a larger piller candle and we will ass a tea light candle every year. We wrote some feelings and kinda a Vow type letter, lit the candles and read each other our letters. We will do this every year adding a candle and a letter. Cheesy but special.

I love this man that I married with all of my heart. Our marriage is by no means perfect but there is so much love and we work on creating a better marriage and a Christ centered home every single day. I love you James with everything I have.

Back to blogging!

Wow a lot has happened since I was last here. This post will kindof be a randon Hodge Podge of things that have happened over the summer and then I will (hopefully) post regularly from now on. :)

We had some family fun. Antelope Island and Lagoon were the highlights. My beautiful mom also got married and moved to Brigham City. Luke went to the Zoo for the first time!

Josh tured 8 this year and wanted to go to Frightmares for his birthday so we took them to Lagoon AGAIN. On 11/1/2014 he was baptized and confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, by his father. It was really special.

James and take as many chances we get to have adventures. Spending time together is an essential part of building a family of rightousness and values. I love this man with all of my heart and soul. We are truly soul mates and best friends. (He even rode the double swing at Lagoon with me, and while we were on the ride "our" song played. We are so adorable.

Luke is still the cutest baby on the planet. (proof below)

I am anxiously preparing tons of fun things for the holidays. We have had some hard times this year as all families I'm sure do. But we still love. We still have Faith. And we know that we will take on anything life throws us together.

I had trouble downloading the Halloween pictures so I will save that for next time.
